PAL at P.S. 41R, The Stephanie A. Vierno School, enjoy a partnership committed to the community at large and the families serviced by the school. The after-school program at P.S. 41R services children in grades K-5 in the neighborhood of New Dorp in Staten Island. Children in the program are provided with a variety of social, recreational, educational, and cultural activities with a focus on responsibility, respect, and safety. Available activities allow kids to develop and strengthen their communication, socialization and team building. PAL program encourages “voice and choice” among young participants enrolled. Kids are provided with opportunities in homework assistance, STEM and Literacy.
